How to Add Preview Text to an Email

Tech Tip

We all know how overwhelming a full email inbox can be. It’s no different for our subscribers. We need to give them a really good reason to open our emails.

In today’s Tech Tip, I will show you how to add preview text to an email so you can add compelling text that encourages your readers to open it and read it through.

Technically, this is called preheader text and more and more email service providers are making it easier for you to add. You may have noticed it in your own inbox. Emails that show up in your previewer with a line of text beyond the subject line. Often when you open the email, that line of text doesn’t appear anywhere.

If you have an online business and are using email marketing to attract customers, you know how important every single word is when communicating with your clients. You don’t want to miss an opportunity to get your message across and the best way to do that is to get them to open your emails.

The proper use of this preheader area allows you extra space to communicate with them in an enticing way.

If you can’t find a way to do this in your email service, reply to this and let me know so I can help you figure it out!
