Sale to Travel Full Time

Last summer, my husband and I decided to hit the road and travel full time. We both had jobs that we were doing from home, he as an actuary for a company in Denver and me as an online marketing coach who teaches people how to get their business set up online. The last kid at home had just graduated and was moving into an apartment and it seemed like the perfect time to realize a dream we’d had for sometime. To live and work full time on the road.

But first, we had to get rid of all of our stuff. ALL of our stuff. Twenty-four years, three kids, and five acres of yard maintenance worth of stuff.

This is how we did it.

What about you? Have you ever considered getting rid of everything and hitting the road? I’d love to know in the comments below… what’s holding you back?
If you’ve ever thought of traveling full time but didn’t know how you’d make it work, my course, Launch Tech Blueprint, teaches you everything you need to know to get a business set up online. Best yet, it’s designed for the non-techie. Class will be starting in a few weeks. You can be added to the waitlist to find out more here.

Wow. I’m exhausted just hearing about it! Lol
I think it’s fabulous that you are living one of your dreams.

It was a lot of work! But it was so worth it. And I don’t look at stores or shopping the same way any more. Now everything I spend money on has to earn a spot in the RV. I never buy something just because I think it might be cool or worthwhile. I have to know it will be something we use. And because we’re moving all the time, returning things is a huge pain, so most of the time I just don’t bother buying it in the first place. That being said, the one thing I WILL spend money on is cool artwork or other small pieces we can display or save for a future home someday. But ONLY if it has a fun memory associated with it or it’s something we love.
